Album Description: Two CD/DVD. 2008 brings the album Revelation from Journey. Neal Schon (guitar), Jonathan Cain (keyboards), Ross Valory (bass), Deen Castronovo (drums)--are proud to introduce fans all over the world to their new lead singer, Arnel Pineda ('pin-eh-da'). He replaces Jeff Scott Soto, who parted ways with the band earlier this year after stepping in for Steve Augeri, who had to leave the band in 2006 for medical reasons.

Great album, great new singer. Amazing physical resemblance to the old Steve Perry and almost the same voice pitch!!!!. The video is great. For all the journey fans it's a must.

I have followed this band since the late 70's. I agree in part that the true Journey sound (to some) must include the sublime Steve Perry, but the mainstay behind this group has always been Mr Schon, guitar legend, and one of the hardest workers in the industry. I was shattered when Perry left, but was elated when Arrival was released featuring the amazing Steve Augeri. Another period of develoment ensued, with the band giving their all for their millions of fans around the globe. Contrary to some sentiment, I felt that Steve Aguri (sorry for the spelling) was a great replacement for Steve Perry. And "Arrival" was also a great release. Too bad he had health difficulties. Be well... Jeff Scott Soto is a good vocalist but is not really a suitable replacement, so it's best he left the band. This new vocalist from the Philippines is terrific and is every bit as good as Aguri. I would say they are about even. Amazing new release; great songs. It seems the band has new life. What else can i say about this album? Only that after listening to Journey's "Revelation" for a few days i went ahead and ordered "Escape" and "Frontiers" t shirts trough Amazon, i feel so proud of being a Journey fan, great comeback, powerful new voice and great music and lyrics
