Product Description: Originally produced by the National Biscuit Company in 1924, this wafer was part of a tin of wafers that included Ginger and Sugar wafers, now both discontinued. Other than a change in packaging, this delicious wafer is baked pretty much the same way it's always been.

Rating: - Fast and delicious
After years of looking for the perfect icebox cake I finally found one, just to find that the cookies I needed to make the cake were as hard to find as that right recipe. I was ecstatic to find the cookies on Amazon. They were delivered in a couple of days. The cookies were not crumbled, which was something I worried about. Thank you for stocking hard to find items.
Rating: - too much money
I looked for these cookies a few years ago, and yes, they are difficult to find. So much so, that I checked Nabisco's website, figuring they'd been discontinued. I found some yesterday at Big Lots for $1.99 a box. What a find! I refuse to pay these outrageous prices ($5.00 a box...crazy) and would substitute something else. Rating: - Good price
Hey, the price is for 6 boxes that makes it $4.59 per box. I think thats a really good price.
Rating: - Wonderful for desserts!
I used to work at a kitchen that used these wafers as a main ingredient in a simple, yet much-loved dessert. A "chocolate cookie torte" is made by layering these simple wafers with whipped topping - let it sit overnight in a fridge, and this is delectible. It tastes much like an oreo cookie, and I just found last month that a Nabisco "100 calorie pack" of oreo cookies basically consists of tiny Famous Chocolate Wafers. No wonder I like these!
If people had looked carefully at the description, they'd have noticed that the price is for 6 packages, making the boxes of wafers under $4.75 ... Read More
Rating: - PRICE????
CAN THIS BE THE CORRECT PRICE? IF SO, IT MAKES ME WONDER IF ALL THE THE PRICES ON THIS WEBSITE ARE SO OUTRAGEOUSLY INFLATED. I HAVE BOUGHT THESE WAFERS
IN THE GROCERY STORE FOR YEARS. MY GUESS IS THAT THEY ARE STILL UNDER $5.00.
AMAZON SHOULD BE RESPONSIBLE ENOUGH TO CHECK FOR OVER THE TOP PRICE GOUGING.
