I bought this item in hopes of keeping my bread fresh, but when I received it, the box was broken and ive not been able to assemble it. I am very disappointed in this product.
Rating: - Great Solution for Counter Clutter!
I am quite happy with my new red bread box. It rolls very easily and is nice and roomy. I have two loaves of bread and a package of English muffins in there right now and nothing is getting squashed. It looks soooo much neater than all that clutter on the counter. I have all red small appliances (toaster oven, microwave, crockpot, etc.) and I do have to agree that this is not a true red...it's more of a faded tomato-red. I don't really need my accent pieces to match exactly, so I'm satisfied. However that does knock the rating down to four stars for me, because I was expecting a deeper apple-red. ... Read More
Rating: - Great breadbox!
I love the red breadbox - it looks great on my countertop. It really brightens it up. I'm so glad I didn't buy the stainless steel box, which was my first thought. It holds quite a bit, too. I recommend it.
Rating: - Box nice but not a true red
Box quality is good. Slide action of roll top door nice. Surprisingly roomy. BUT....this is not a true red. It is a deep salmon color. It does not match the other red counter-top appliances we have at all which are a deeper red. Next to those it looks too pink. If you don't have other red appliances, you might not notice it. I'm going to cast it back and go for black.

The true red color and generous size of this box are perfect. The lid closes quite well, keeping breads fresh.
