Rating: - Ouch, my burning hands!
I would avoid these mitts. They really don't protect your hands for very long. I have almost dropped several hot dishes before I could get them from the oven to a safe place on the counter because the heat just came through. In fact, the mitts themselves get hot enough that it's painful after you put the hot pot down! While the magnet is somewhat handy, I find myself wishing I hadn't thrown away my old cloth oven mitts.
Rating: - Ill stick with the old fashond type myself
Great for a quick grab, but otherwise I find them to transfer heat to easily

We have had these for a few months now and must say BEWARE!!!
They are not really comfortable and seem to transmit too much heat thru for my liking. But the worst is that there is a magnet at the wrist area to hang them up with on a metal surface. Seems convenient but on the other side of the glove opposite the magnet is an elliptical hole. My wife who is LEFT HANDED had the hole in the glove right next to her wrist and severely burnt that area of her palm near her wrist. This is a severe design flaw.
DO not get these if you are left handed and I don't recommend anyway.

LOVE these mitts!!! Read all the reviews of this type of product and decided based on price and description that this product would best meet my needs. And, boy oh boy, does it!! They are less flexible than my old cloth mitts but sooo much better in many other ways. Flexibility is still well within acceptable limits, however, I can easily pick up even a low, flimsy aluminum cookie sheet. Heat protection is great and the ability to wash the mitts (or get them wet) in the midst of the cooking process without losing heat protection is very convenient. Best Mitts Ever! Extremely Flexible, Easy To Clean. If you like to start roasting your bird breast down, to keep it moist, then turning it, to brown the breast, you can pick it up in your mitt covered hands and turn it with easy clean up. Built in magnets make storage easy. Great for high heat. I have used many mitts along theses same lines of construction, they were too stiff, not worth the price and they were sold individually. These mitts are the way to go, they come as a set and are worth every penny. I'm getting more and giving them as gifts.
