Rating: - Excellent value, perfect for storage, but lids are soooo tough to get on!
I ordered these to replace our plastic Ziploc storage containers. It is cutting down on the dishes because they are nice enough to use as serving bowls at dinner and then transfer leftovers easily to the fridge and back to the microwave or oven again.
My only complaint is that the lids are so airtight they are pretty tough to put on. Maybe I just need to get the feel of it and it'll be easier after time but they seem a tad too small. Otherwise, great product, and I'll probably buy another set in the future.

Have had mine since about 1994. And they don't stain from tomato sauce! Tight, no odor lids.

Plastic storage containers cannot compare to the durability of Pyrex. They do not absorb odors, nor do they stain from highly pigmented food and they do not release toxic chemicals.

I always read reviews before I purchase anything. These were as good as all the reviews said! With all of this talk about how bad plastic is for you I decided to try these out. I use them for left-overs, for freezer jam, and when my kids start school in the fall I will pack them in their lunches for yogurt and apple sauce. Another really good thing about them is that I am really lazy. When I use plastic containers and the left overs go bad I just toss the whole container. There is no way I would consider throwing one of these puppies away! I will be buying more of these!
