Rating: - good shade, lousy tape
Ten minutes after I hung these shades, exactly as directly, they fell down. After purchasing some additional heavy duty, 2 sided adhesive to rehang they have worked nicely. It would have been nice if an adequate adhesive had been included and I did not have to make a trip to the store...

This is the third time I have ordered Redi Shades.
Each time they have come quickly and been in good order.
I find the product easy to use.
Rating: - Ok for the price
You can't beat the price. It is super easy to cut to size and there are little plastic covers to finish off the ends. The only problem I have with it is that it really isn't room darkening. My daughters room gets direct sunlight for most of the day and this blind just doesn't really help. It is improved over a blind with no "darkening", but it is not for rooms that are super sunny.
Rating: - Better than expected
I have previously purchased the standard Redi Shades and was satisfied for the price. These room darkening shades are far superior and much better than I expected. These are equally easy to cut to size and install. The push-button/cord arrangement to raise and lower the shade is much better and more attractive than the spring clip clothes-pins on the standard shades. They do a pretty good job of darkening the room, but don't expect blackout conditions. I liked them so much I ordered more.
Rating: - Great product, attrocious packaging
Product is excellent for temporary room darkening (or even more permanent if you are careful about installing and perhaps enhancing with minimal window treatment.) However, please be warned about the packaging. Each of 5 shades came in its own box that was HUGE and loaded with paper. Completely unnecessary as all five could have fit in ONE box 1/3 of the size. It took me 45 minutes to unpack and get rid of all the packaging so I could leave the house (the five boxes completely blocked my entryway.) I was LIVID and will NEVER order these from Amazon again.
