Rating: - Same as cab/merlot
I was deciding on which ones to get, the cab or syrah ones, and decided on these (the syrah/shiraz), so happens they shipped the Cab ones anyways. Seems they mixed them up or Amazon just considers them interchangeable.
The Syrah ones are technically narrower and taller as per the insert.

The glasses are wonderful. The balance of the weight and the finess of the glass are exceptional.

I love these glasses.
I think the traditional stemmed wine glass is fine, but I find this far more practical, while being elegant at the same time.
I have the set for Sauvignon Blanc as well, which are very nice.
I'll be buying more.

These glasses make a world of difference in the taste of your wine. Compared to retail department stores, Amazon offers a very nice price for them.
Rating: - Good but not perfect
Let me first say that Riedel's do enhance the taste of any wine and the idea behind the tumblers is good. Unfortunately they do smudge easily and have to be cleaned with soft water or they become cloudy. The manufacturer suggests washing them with only water, i.e. no soap, but this doesn't work for me.
