Rating: - Works well, but can be messy and hard to clean
This item makes fairly decent quesadillas. There are a couple of tricks to using it correctly, like not filling the tortillas with too much filling, and making sure you can actually latch the lid, while keeping it closed long enough for it to toast the tortilla. It mostly becomes a process of trial and error.
Although the surfaces are non-stick and clean somewhat easily, you can't remove the plates and you can't submerge the unit in water, so other than using towels, cloths, and sponges, there's not much you can do to effectively clean and rinse the unit.

I HAD SEEN ONE OF THESE USED AT A TINY MEXICAN RESTAURANT HERE IN FLORIDA, AND KNEW I HAD TO HAVE ONE. IT'S GREAT! I HAVE TO LEARN HOW TO NOT OVERFILL IT, AS THAT CAN MAKE THINGS MESSY AROUND THE EDGES....MAKES FOR AN EASY AND QUICK DINNER.
