Product Description: Following the success of the Nova Brown pattern, Sango has come up with a new design also inspired by handcrafted pottery. The simple shapes provide uniformity and a sense of calm, while the reactive glazes make each piece a unique expression of ceramic artistry. Contrasting matte and gloss textures add another layer of interest. Tones range from pale ochre to rich brown to hints of purple and blue. Due to the nature of this product each piece varies in color, there are also minor surface irregularities.

Although I recently purchased, and now use, Mara Celestial stoneware for our dinner plates, I have a full set of Sango Splash dinnerware that is an excellent value. I purchased this dish to have a different shape for a serving bowl. I don't use the set anymore, but still have this dish out on my kitchen counter, as it goes so well with everything, to put fruit in. It's dishwasher and microwave safe, and pretty bomb-proof for the price.

This is larger than it looks, makes a great serving dish, cleans up like a dream, and is perfect for baking anything you don't need a big casserole for. One of my favorite dishes already.

This little Au Gratin dish was a wonderful addition to my set of Sango Splash dinnerware. It handles heat (up to a 500 degree oven), microwave, dishwasher and regular use. It is the perfect size for appetizer dips or trimmed asparagus. The best part? No need to serve in a separate dish...it looks great on the table and coordinates with my other Splash patterned dishes. A great buy.
