All 4 were broken and I have not had the time to send them back. It does not make sense that they are not packaged properly. THis is the second time this has happened with the same product.

LOVE MINE. I have to say I chose the Sango Splash for the rough look of it. I like earth and fall colors and I like something that will go with all seasons, if you just change your table cloth or napkins. I am usually rought on stuff and I have to say I have about everything and maybe just one or two bowl with a small chip. I think they way I handle mine they should have more chips, but they don't. I think they are pretty durable. Just love holding it in my hands and drink coffee out of the mugs, perfect size mugs, hard to find nice mugs that is not so big. My husband and I chose the Sango Splash design for our dinnerware on the Amazon.com wedding registry because the design was what we were looking for. The prices are great, so we were able to add on additional pieces to complete place settings for 8. Several people purchased items with this design as gifts for us without sepding a lot of money. The additional pieces and bakeware are wonderful and I have made many nice dishes using them. The overall feel of the earthen ware is nice and they easily go from oven to table to dishwasher.
