The high dome shape sends moisture back into the pan and prevents splatters, while the large phenolic-resin knob is easily grasped with a potholder. The brightly polished finish stands up to dishwasher-cleaning, but is best kept out of the oven. Scanpan makes the stainless lid in several sizes.
