Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Classic Edward Mulharian fun
I love this stuff, and used to watch this program faithfully: the corny introduction with the stilted computer-animated bald man, the silly castle, and Edward Mulhare, arms folded, waiting to swish us away on another adventure into the world of the low-budget paranormal. The Pyramids episode is one of the finest, with plenty of corny computer "special" effects and silly interviews with pyramid experts. I honestly don't think I learned anything, but I had fun with Edward Mulhare.

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Secrets of the Unknown: English Ghosts
There's not much to this quite short video and so I have to say that I was exceedingly disappointed; very few hauntings are discussed, and this is done in a very superficial manner. For anyone with even a rudimentary understanding of the subject, this video has nothing to offer.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - SECRETS OF THE UNKNOWN - STONEHENGE, BETTER THAN SOME SAY!
I can't speak for any ot the other tapes in the "Secrets of the Unknown" series, however, I have seen "Stonehenge" and I thought for a short video (22 min. on Stonehenge, and 6 min. on previews of other tapes), it was quite informative, interesting, and beautiful to look at, as they showed Stonehenge alot, in both day and "night under the stars" settings. I've always been quite mesmerized by it, especially at night and thought they did a good job with this show!

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Misery Science Theater 3000
This biased, overstylized program spends more time showing host Edward Mulhare than it does showing Sasquatch. Bigfoot newcomers will snicker at the montages of a guy parading around in a shaggy ape costume, while veterans will learn absolutely nothing new about the legendary creature. The show reaches its nadir with the muttered testimonials of several Ignorant White Males, who seem to comprise the majority of all eyewitnesses. At the conclusion of this 20-minute video, Mulhare takes Bigfoot's existence as a given, but viewers over the age of four may question his judgment.

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Psychology from the 1980s
This video, as far as I could tell, had absolutely nothing to do with the powers of the mind. All of the other reviews are either misleading or completely false. There was no man jumping off a building and accomplishing some supernatural feat. Here's a short synopsis of what this video actually is: A bunch of psychologists and neuroscientists from the 1980s talk about the brain, while the host of the program attempts to make everything sound really mysterious.

This movie would have gotten 2 stars if it had at least said on the box "This video is about the various 'natural' functions ... Read More
