Rating: - Works much better than expected.
Totally stopped my snoring except when I force myself onto my back in the middle of the night. I tried two things at once, this pillow and a dentist fitted appliance. The appliance did not work at all, it was uncomfortable and made me slobber all over the place like an animal. The pillow was 1/4 the cost and works perfectly. Highly highly recommend trying it. So what if it costs a lot, if you are keeping your partner up at night, it's worth trying all available solutions that might work.
Rating: - Don't buy this pillow unless you have money to burn
This pillow cost me $160 including tax and shipping. I tried it three nights in a row to try to get "used to it" as recommended, and got NO SLEEP. It was so uncomfortable. It gave me a crick in my neck, my arm kept falling asleep and waking me up, and the pillow is too hard and made my ears sore. In addition, you can't return it! If I had known this, I wouldn't have bought it. Nowhere on the site did I see any mention of a non-return policy. So unless you have money to burn, don't buy this pillow!
Rating: - Stop snoring now
Its not often a pillow can help someone out. I purchased this gift for my Father in law who has a snoring problem and after just a few nights of this his problem was solved. He was thrilled with it so much he purchased another one for his vacation home so he would never be without it.
Rating: - Awesome when used properly
I'm giving this 5 stars based solely on my fiance's claims that I no longer snore when I use this pillow properly (that is, on my side, on the side of the pillow).
The pillow takes some "practice"... it took me about 2 straight weeks of randomly-awake nights before I slept straight through. Of course, maybe that's why my fiance said I stopped snoring - I wasn't sleeping! I used to be a stomach sleeper with a fluffy pillow (this pillow is comfortable but sturdy), so this was a change.
It's also a little long. It kept sticking over my bed and knocking things off my night ... Read More
Rating: - Really Does Stop 99% of My Snoring
My wife loves this pillow. It really has stopped over 99% of my snoring. My wife should know; she is a light sleeper.
It works.
Two caveats:
1) It does take a week or so to break it in. During this time it will be too fat and firm causing neck and ear discomfort. The sales clerk advised using it to lean against to break it in. This helped!
2) It loses it's shape after a year and a half or so and becomes less effective. I am replacing mine for that reason. Expensive, but my wife says it is money well spent!
