Rating: - Terrific tent, even for beginners!
This was our first time buying/using a tent, as well as our first time camping. It was super easy to set up, only took about thirty minutes including hammering in the pegs. It rained and poured all night long but this tent kept us dry with NO leakage at all. It was a great purchase and we are very pleased and look forward to out next camping trip.

My husband bought this tent a few years ago, and we've used it many times camping in the mountains. It's a breeze to set up, it usually takes us about 5 minutes, though we have replaced the cheap stakes with more sturdy ones. It's a lot faster and easier to set up than most of our friend's tents! I can't imagine trying to fit more than 3 people in this, it was cozy with just my husband and I and our air mattress in there. Rating: - You get what you pay for...well, sometimes.
I used the tent 2 times and the zipper broke. I had trouble with the zipper the first time, but the second time it completely broke.
I threw it in the dumpster as I left the campsite. I have upgraded to a Kelty Green River.

I can not rate this tent because I feel I got cheated;I had purchased an Eddie Bauer 10 man tent last year and used it for the first time this past summer it rained and you can watch water coming in through the zippers.I have talked to the manufacture and got nowhere;also the room separaters you can see right through them;do not bother putting them up.I started reading other reviews and gettig a conclusion that eddie bauer tents suck
Rating: - faithful tent
This tent has sheltered us from The Rockies to The Great Lakes for almost 3 years. Through wind, rain and cold, it has kept us dry. The ventilation is good with all of the windows as well during warmer spells. It's not very spacious, but it works perfectly for my husband and me, our bags and our air mattress.
