These ear plugs are the greatest! They let you hear the subtletly of the music (all tones, nuances etc.) while protecting your ears! Trade your old foam earplugs in for these right away!!! We (parents) just recently used them for our son's band's concerts and, separately, for a Bruce Springsteen concert. Our son and his friends use them while they practice too! These plugs are awesome.

I have used these earplugs for over 2 years and have purchased a set for my wife and close friend. As a senior citizen, almost, my ears have become very sensitive to loud or disturbing noises. I play poker on a weekly basis in casinos which have a high amount of agitating ambient noise from the excessively loud overhead speaker announcements and adjacent slot machine chaos. Rating: - Don't buy this product!
The flat attenuation that these earplugs provide was actually impressive. It really is just like simply turning down the volume knob on the world around you without having to distort the sound. Unfortunately though, I'm going to continue putting up with the annoying muffling effect caused by cheap disposable foam earplugs until I get myself some custom-made musicians earplugs, because these were just unbearably uncomfortable to wear, even for very short periods of time.
Rating: - If you like live music, you should have some of these!
My wife and I really like live music and we've been able to see some great live acts in the last few years (James Brown, Willie Nelson, Bob Dylan, Elton John, Billy Joel, etc.). Even some of the more mellow acts we've seen have been really loud. These ear plugs are great. You still get to hear the highs and lows of the music, but without the dangerous noise levels. I highly recommend them.
