I ordered this thinking it was for wine, but it seems it was designed more for champagne bottles. It doesn't fit most of our wine bottles. Otherwise, it seems to seal well for champagne and looks nice, doesn't stick up much from the top of the bottle (this is good for shorter refrigerator shelves)
