If you are thinking that buying this will make up for that Daisy Potato peeler you had back in the day, don't bother to buy this. It's cheap plastic. Works better on larger fruit and potatoes... not a very sturdy peeler.
Not worth the money...
Sorry!

My son & I prepare 250 pounds of Gravenstein apples for applesauce each year. We couldn't do it without this machine. We know that it was created for home use, not commercial use, so it probably wasn't intended for such intense use. Therefore, we run it for 15 minutes then let it cool for 15 minutes so the motor doesn't overheat. We just finished this year's batch, running it this way for three days at five or so hours each day, and it was terrific.

The Rotato Express, when it works, makes peeling potatoes and other veggies a breeze. I ordered this peeler thinking it was a curley fry maker. Of course I was dissapointed when it arrived and I found out all it did was peel stuff.
I agree w/ another reviewer who said it was cheaply made however this thing rocks when it comes to peeling potatoes, apples etc. I am so happy I accidently ordered it. I saw today where I could order new blades. While it doesnt seems to need them yet I'm going to keep a few on hand. Also, you can pop a few "c" batteries in it and take it camping w/ you.
