Amazon.com Review: One of the most frustrating occurrences in the kitchen is when it's hard to tell what's stored in which container in the fridge. The Stay Fresh refrigerator containers allow a clear vision of what's in there without having to pull everything out and pop the lids open to see what's what. Made of sturdy, clear plastic, these containers have hinged lids, so there won't be any scrambling around to match lid with container.
The containers are designed to be form-fitted to standard food packaging sizes, allowing for the most efficient use of refrigerator space. The eight-piece set is made up of containers shaped for a package of bacon, a stick of butter, a brick of cream cheese, a ten-pack of hot dogs, a head of lettuce or small cantaloupe, a tomato or onion, a pint of berries, and a bunch of celery. cheese slice holder won't stay closed. butter container is just a wee bit smaller than a stick of butter/margarine, can fit one in it but will be a bit scrape off on the out side. the only containers I'm using are the lettuce keeper, cream cheese, and the tomato/onion keeper. they work fine.

I read several AMZN negative reviews of this brand for other shapes prior to ordering and I should have heeded them. Since I got it as part of the 4 for 3 promotion, I did not lose much money. The shapes themselves are fine as is the thickness and general quality of this product. We all know if a container is not airtight, food spoils quicker and that is the issue with this product. So now I plan to seal the food items with a plastic wrap first and then place in the specified container. I hope this will work better than just using the plastic wrap alone. I'll add an addendum if it doesn't.

The product is so and so. The best thing is the lettuce holder since mine always goes bad in my refrigerator. I live by the beach and I go home only on weekends since I work in the city, so usually everything goes bad when I get there. I need to put all my things in plastic so they don't go to waste. I was dissapointed with the butter holder. Just for one bar of butter? hmm. I'm usung the rest of the things for other things in my pantry. I hate to sound negative but in my opinion this was a waste of money. But it might be a great purchase for other people. Sorry.
