Rating: - excellent with MythTV
I've been using several of these units with a whole-house MythTV setup for several years. They are very well supported under Linux's LIRC program, and work flawlessly. It's also very nice to have the same remote for every TV in the house--very good for the WAF (Wife Acceptance Factor).

When I bought this I had very high expectations for this but when I received it and started using it I was disappointed. The software to configure it could be better and more friendly to the user. I bought this specifically to use it with nVidia's nStant Media, so I researched it first in the web page to see if they supported it and they said they do. But when I tried to use it, was no good, I couldn't even make the play button to work. There are some functions in Media center that don't work either. Rating: - does not work with wintv
I just realized I've wasted twenty bucks since this remote control does not work with WinTV, which is the solid reason I bought this remote. It is useless, and I can't even return it since I opened the case already.
Rating: - Workes great with mythtv
Bought it to use with my mythtv setup. Works great. The IR receiver is wonderful. I could control it with my regular TV (Sony SXRD) remote. The included remote is pretty good too. Nice feel to the buttons and feels comfortable to hold.
Rating: - Unreliable driver, no customer service
OK hardware with a limited & unreliable driver. No customer service. I strongly recommend AGAINST the purchase of this remote.
