Rating: - Great humidifier for a small bedroom or office
This humidifier works very well. However, I don't recommend using anything other than distilled water in the unit, as the performance and longevity of the unit will be compromised if you use tap water. The manufacturer supplies the humidifier with a small brush to remove mineral deposits from the metal nebulizer plate, but in my experience, (having owned an older model) once the minerals are stuck to the plate it is pretty much impossible to remove them effectively. I'm only using distilled water in the new model - 1 month of nightly use and it still looks like new.

We bought this unit for our bedroom because we had used a similar unit before and liked how quiet it was. This unit was quiet, definitely put humidity in the air in our room. The downside however, is that the carpet around the unit was getting wet, so we put a towel underneath, which turned out to be soaked, along with the carpet after running all night. This was unacceptable so we returned the unit.

I bought this humidifier and decided to try it out in my house.. I noticed that like some people said that it shot mist up 6 inches and then got the area aound it wet. It did that at my house, but after looking at the Humidstat (checks the humid levels) my room was at 75% humid.. That is why it got everything wet.. not rocket science.
When i have it at work (which is about 30% humid) it works just like it said it does..

Rating: - WHAT A PIECE OF ^(^%
ok, first of all i bought this thing because its reviews werent bad at all AT FIRST. I bought this for my mother. Gave it to her. SHe loved the blue light and very quiet. ONLY BAD THING WAS...it quit working within 2 weeks. It runs, light turns on, but no water sprays out. I lost receipt and now a over sized night light on MY dresser. UGH. If anyone knows how to fix this damn thing please let me know.

i liked the first one. this one is quieter and has a higher output. new and improved and i like it.
