Rating: - A good sense of humor is a must
I bought this knife set while going through a divorce. I think it's hysterical and the quality of the knives are better than i anticipated. The only draw back is the odd looks i get from friends and family who don't think it's as funny as i do or who think my sense of humor is inappropriate, or just do get how satisfying it is to put knives through your "ex". Too bad for them, I guess. I would recommend this product especially to those who are a little twisted.

So my wife basically got to choose everything that was in our living room, kitchen and bedroom (less the home theater system) -however, i asked her if i could choose the knife set whith this set in mind - she conceded probably not knowing what i was going to get

I have had my eye on this fella for awhile. I broke one of my current knives (Ginsu, by the way, they suck) and caved and bought this. The I expected sub-par knife quality, figuring I could replace the knives at a later date. For me the charm was all in the voodoo man holder (sorry can't call him "the ex" I don't have an ex). I was pleasantly surprised when he arrived. The knives are fantastic!! The quality of the knives far surpasses the ginsus I have. This is a great item. The surprise is the high quality of the knives. I bought it as a conversation piece and expected the knives to be average or poor quality, but they are heavy, sharp, sleek and high quality. This is the 3rd purchase of this item I have made, one for myself and 2 gifts.

Makes a great addition to my kitchen. The all stainless steel knives are great quality and you won't find a more unique block to hold your cuttlery. Not for everyone, but if you have a sense of humor this set makes a great gift.
