pot looks and works good.Glass lid locks to top and has straining capability. Silicon inserts on handles allow lifting hot pot without burning.Aluminum clad bottom requires that you don't have heat too high to avoid separation.(can you guess we've ruined a pot doing that in the past?)

I have the whole collection and love my pots, easy to clean, you need to cook on medium heat to prevent burning and they do not stick. I have had my pots for 4 months and still look as new. this specific pot is the right size and the lid works as described, very satisfied with the belgique collection

This pot is really good and just what I needed . Great for soups and pasta ( the straing feature is great). Quality seems good and quite durable, so I expect several years of usage from this one. And the price $14.99 was a steal.

I needed new pots and pans and after shopping around I decided that the Belgique line would suit my needs. I had purchased a large set, but wanted a few more things to complete it all so I purchased this item.
I've already used it and I love it. You can't beat this for cooking pasta, there just isn't a better way to go. Instead of having the immersable basket, you just tip this pot and pour off the water! Less to clean! And I love the glass lid... you can see stuff as it cooks.
I got this on a sale price and I know I got a great deal.
