1. the handle become hot and its design does not ensure adequate conductivity for cooling and comfortable handling.
2. Much more bothersome : while using the pan only for omelette and with an oil spray, it DID get burned and the eggs stick to it.
Way lower than the usual quality standards of the TYPOON brand.
Rating: - fast, easy, beautiful crepes: it's as easy as counting to three
hands down -- the best non stick crepe pan from among the five i've tested.
first:
the carbon steel offers superfast heating and cooking. i found the pan to be well designed in the areas of weight, balance, and length/placement of handle and it is super shallow with a low-slanted rim. in other words, perfect for making crepes.
second:
the probon non-stick finish creates a superslick surface (as slick as my scanpan fry pan), however, I was able to "brown" one of the crepes without burning it or the pan (the pan offered immediate release when i lifted the ... Read More
