Rating: - A documentary that had me in tears
I've been a fan of the WWF/WWE ever since 1992. My two heroes were The Undertaker and the man featured in this docu, Bret The Hitman Hart. When I saw the SS in 97 I was shocked at what was unraveling before my eyes. This was too real to be just a storyline, this was an already "turned heel" hero being ripped apart and broken in just a few minutes. To me it seems that Bret still hasn't made it through the darkness that was brought upon by this and the tragedies afterwards. Bret "Hitman" Hart rules!This man did everything someone possibly can for the WWF and look what they did to him in return.They screwed him at Survivor Series in his hometown of Canada.Who can blame Bret for spitting on Vince after Vince lied to Bret about the finish of the match saying it would end on dq after an run in by The Hart Foundation and DX but then Vince changes the rules w/that little b**** Shawn placing Bret in his own hold and Vince ringing the bell.I wanted to kick Vince right in his a** after that happened but Bret punched his lights out backstage so that was justice enough.Anyway ... Rating: - Who screwed who?
Just one comment, as far as the comment 'Bret screwed Bret' goes, many people are connecting that with his move to WCW. It wasn't a move that helped him, even he says WCW had no direction but lest we forget, Bret was TOLD by Vince to get the contract from them, as he couldn't honour the contract he was offered by the WWE. See that, he was TOLD by the man to do so.
It's pretty clear as to who was the bad guy and who screwed who and gues what? He's not Canadian.
