Rating: - Great transfer, great sound
Presley's second film has never looked or sounded better than on this Maple dvd release. Nothing to complain about, really, except for the strangest bonus features I've ever come across. Brief chats with NBC-Tv personalities, not a one of whom had anything to do with Elvis. The comments from people like Jay Leno and others are absolutely useless, bewildering and shallow. Only Martin Sheen (!) manages to say, well, anything, and after it's over you find he spent six minutes or so expounding on basically one 20-second thought. At least he realizes it.

One of Elvis' early films in color. This movie is a treat to watch, if for no other reason than that.
Rating: - Great DVD Tranfer
This, is in my opinion, Elvis's best movie.From the staged performances to the acting and story line, it is still great entertainment today.Also this dvd edition has been beautifully restored and the magnificent Technicolor shines.Definetely a must for any Elvis fan.

Rating: - Terrific movie, PERFECT DVD transfer!
First I would like to applaud Lion's Gate Home Entertainment for the perfect job they did with transferring this film to DVD. Having never seen this movie (gasp) before I bought it on DVD, the first thing I noticed was that they not only kept the original "VistaVision" opening sequence, but that the transfer was so flawless as to make it appear that I was watching it from a projector onto the silver screen.
