Alleviate suffering from colds, asthma, or dry skin by adjusting the easy-to-use controls: three fan speeds and six humidity levels allow the humidifier to soothe any situation. The lowest fan setting is bedroom-quiet; the highest setting evaporates four gallons of water in 24 hours. Once the desired humidity level is reached, a control can be set to maintain that level. The two 2-gallon plastic bottles are virtually leakproof and spillproof, have wide mouths for easy filling, and permit water-level monitoring. Have been using this humidifier for awhile now and am very satisifed with it. It holds a lot of water making it run without attention for days. Definitely a best buy.
Rating: - Not worth the money
I bought this humidifier because I trusted the Vornado name. Big mistake! This did not live up to its name. I could barely feel any moisture in the air at all. If anything, my room felt drier! To make matters worse, the flimsy, cheap plastic that held the jugs cracked. I didn't find that out until after I stepped into a big puddle of water on my hardwood floor! Save your money. Go buy another brand of humidifier.

So its a large humidifier; shouldn't really be surprizing but it was to me. But its great, no water spitting, spilling or other sp's. I keep it on the lowest fan setting which is very quiet, even for a fan, and it has worked wonders for me. I have also used the automatic feature, where you set a humidity level and it turns on when the humidity falls below that level, and that feature works great too. Rating: - Overall a great humidifier
Have used the Vornado for about a month now. We have a large open ceiling bedroom and the Vornado can hold the humidity to just over 30% while set on low. This is a nice, quiet setting except for the glups, glups that occur with regularity when the water is being replenished from the jugs. Overall think this is an easy to use and reliable unit.
Rating: - Fan never worked
I was so excited to get this thing in the mail. But like another reviewer, when it came, the fan motor never worked. I'm now packing it to send back for a replacement. It may be the best humidifier on the market, but the manufacturing error rate is clearly too high. I'll increase my star rating somewhat if the replacement works well.
