Rating: - Great desk fan
I have seen some other reviews that are mixed, but the bottom line is, this is a very capable desk fan. It is not powerful enough to move air in a room. The two added benefits are that it is fairly quiet (I sometimes accidently leave it on overnight) and it looks cool. I appreciate the two speed switch on the back and almost exclusively use the high speed. If you want more power you can get a bigger fan that takes up more space on your desk, but I personally am very satisfied. I own several of the Vornado Circulators; they are awesome!!! The Zippi is not a Circulator, but rather a compact personal fan. I'm disappointed with the many Vornado owners who are comparing the Zippi to the circulators.
The Zippi is a completely different offering!
It excels at what it is: A Personal, Portable, Powerful, Compact, Silent and Super Cute Fan:
It is Personal because it is meant to be sitting in front of its master faithfully fanning him or her.

Rating: - Broke Quickly - Warranty Useless
Fan was exactly what I was looking for - very quiet. However, after four months of occassional use, the fan died on me -- couldn't be restarted. I tried to use the warranty, but the cost of shipping was prohibitive. Note that several other reviewers had similar problems.
Great idea - if Vornado makes a more durable version I'd buy a new one in a second. But a fan that doesn't last more than four months is a waste of money.
Rating: - Solved a problem...quietly.
I picked this fan because the description said it was whisper quiet, and it is. My problem was that, according to the manual, my new AV receiver needed 8 inches of overhead clearance for proper heat dispersal. Unfortunately, my sound system rack only has about 2" of clearance, and there was no doubt I was getting heat build up.

Rating: - Great Little Fan
I have had this fan on my desk for about a month. It is small, well-constructed, and I love the soft blades. It is very quiet and circulates the air "just enough". It's not a high-powered fan but blows a soft breeze. I use it to circulate the air in my small office. I love the aesthetic design and color (I have orange). Over all it is a great little fan.
