Rating: - Yogurt Lover!
My husband and I eat a great deal of yogurt made from organic milk. Now with this 2 quart maker I can make yogurt at half the cost. I never did like the little cup yogurt makers -- too much fuss for not enough yogurt. The Yogourmet Maker is so easy to use that I don't see why anyone would buy yogurt any more!
Rating: - So Convenient!
An extra jar means less "yogurt rationing". My kids eat yogurt every day, and I wasn't eating any to avoid running out so much, but with the extra jar, I feel like I can eat yogurt too!
Rating: - Two is great
As soon as I start eating a batch or cooking with it, I can start another one. And being able to store freshly made yogurt without disturbing it by having to put into another container is practical. The container is light weight for the size, and completely dishwasher safe.
Rating: - White is not best color for yogurt incubation.
I purchased one and found it difficult to both open and close completely (360-degrees) without experiencing a good deal of slosh owing to the force required to snap and unsnap the lid.
Also, I realized after my purchase, incubating yogurt cultures results in some of them becoming very well attached to the side of the incubation container. One needs to examine well a wash container under good light for signs of minute, clinging clusters. It is difficult to see minute, white cultures on the inside wall of a white container. Rating: - Never run out of yogurt again!
I am so glad that I purchased the extra batch jar. I never run out of yogurt anymore. The convenience is totally worth even double the price!
