Wow, for canners or folks that like to use lots of fresh garlic, this might be the best invention of the 21st century so far. This thing really works. The price seems a bit high as it is just a piece of silicon tubing, but it really works well for peeling garlic cloves.

This handy little garlic peeler is literally the best gadget I've ever bought! My husband plants loads of garlic every fall because we use a lot. I have been tempted to cry before when peeling enough at one time to put in a food dehydrator. Even though you can't put more than 3 cloves in the tube at one time, it goes so fast that it's worth it! This may be the next wedding gift I buy!

We received one of these as a wedding gift 5 years ago and it has probably seen the most use out of anything else in the kitchen (excpet maybe the wooden spoon). I am of the school that you can never have enough garlic in anything you make and there should be garlic in everything you make. You just stick the cloves in and press down and give it a roll and voils, you pop the peeled garlic out the end. Your fingers won't reek like garlic for days (just your breathe). So simple yet so helpful. Quickly loosens the "skin" off garlic cloves making it a breeze to remove. I don't know how I lived without this!

I saw this being used by a local cooking instructor in a cookware store. It works like magic. Wish I had discovered this 20 years ago, as I use a ton of garlic. I'm now telling all my friends and relatives about it. You can't go wrong for this price either. You have to try it to believe it. It works.
