The Zen Alarm Clock changed my life. No really. I was one of those people who always over-slept, and always got used to new alarm clocks over time. That was ten years ago. Today, I always get up, even when I've had four hours of sleep. When it first goes off, it chimes once, and no reasonable person would wake up. I have had this alarm clock for several years. I love it. After reading several other reviews, I have to agree that it could be smaller, but then the chime would be too short to sound as good as it does. However, rather than keep it on my nightstand, I put it on my dresser where it doesn't take up so much room. That way, I have to get out of bed to turn it off and that helps with my morning ritual. This chime alarm system works perfectly.

My new Zen Alarm Clock has made a nice impression on me and inspired me to get up in the morning. I am not cranky anymore having to wake up to a buzzing nightmare of a clock. Why didn't I get this sooner?

The Zen Alarm Clock is a wonderful invention. The way it wakes me up is truly marvelous, reducing my innate tendency to oversleep. It thus gives me a way of waking up that is easier than the experience of using other, more conventional alarm clocks. The sound of the chime is clear but not too jarring. I would not be without my Zen Clock and have a at least four friends who have bought one and love theirs too.

I bought this clock for its looks. The artwork for the bamboo dial face is really elegant. It adds to my bedroom décor and I get a lot of compliments from my friends. Although I usually don't need an alarm clock to wake up, when I have to get up super early the chime sequence is great. I really like it when the first chime goes off because it is so unexpectedly pleasant. This is a nice product, very well made and a pleasure to behold.
