I recently purchased this from amazon and we have enjoyed its great quality. Since my husband leaves for work early in the morning, I'm not quite ready for coffee. I just make a big pot, send some to work with him and keep the rest in the carafe until I'm ready. We would recommend this to anyone!
This is a wonderful product. Truck driver for 32 years and I've seen a lot of thermos/carafe products. This is one of the best ever.
Button sticks? Top probably not fully in place. Base gets loose and leaks a bit? Carefully unscrew the base,carefully wash and dry the bottle and insides then simply do a careful reassembly. Rating: - Great for hot water
This carafe does a great job of keeping things hot. I use it to keep hot water ready for making or heating baby formula. I've also made tea with the hot water. It's just the right size to last a day - though it can go 2 days.
I also have a simple electric kettle to boil water, so this carafe works well with that. The metal finish is nice, so it looks good sitting on our counter. For those who pay attention to where things are made, this product is made in Japan.

I purchased this item after reading other reviews and I am happy I did. I had tried several other carafes which claimed to keep coffee hot but did not deliver - this one really works. It keeps coffee hot for several hours and as a added bonus it is easy to pour. The push button feature makes this product easy to use for everyone. In fact, I like this so much I plan to order another one for my summer cabin. Worth it's price!

We've had this carafe for about a year and a half, and it's still keeping the coffee hot and looks great. We've never had a problem with it. You will notice after awhile that the bottom loosens up and coffee will leak between the glass and metal. Carefully unscrew the bottom (the glass carafe sits loosely on the base), remove the glass, wash and dry everything, and put it back together.
