Rating: - Works fine and is durable
These chopsticks are one piece with square cross section sticks (flat surfaces - easy to grip food) and made of a melamine-like substance (dishwasher-durable, but don't grind it up and mix it into baby formula, obviously) and are easy for 2-4 year olds to use to pick up bite size pieces of food. We got the bear and giraffe and both the chopsticks and decoration have held up fine in the last year or so.

Rating: - Confused by quantity
The description does state "ONE ITEM" but then it states "ASSORTED." I wasn't exactly sure how many I was going to receive. I was hoping by how much I was paying that it would be more than just one, but one it was. I would have called to confirm, but I ordered on a Sunday. Will know better next time.
Rating: - Fun and Easy to Use
My kids (ages 4 & 5) really like to use these cute chopsticks especially when we order Chinese food. We have the starfish and some other one (can't remember) but both are in high favor with the kids. I've run them through the dishwasher several times and they seem fine. The hinges are strong but flexible enough for tiny fingers to squeeze close. You can choose various colored see-through plastic animals that you normally will not see incorporated into chopsticks. Really a good idea and worth the money.

These are great! Very durable and strong, bigger than I expected, but doesn't seem to be an issue for my two year old and five year old. I'll be purchasing more as gifts.
