I love this documentary. I play it whenever I need a laugh. It is short -- the cinematography is terrible, but the editing is brilliant. The participants are hilarious and their stories are universally touching. This is one for the Smithsonian.

When my cousin gave me this video for the holidays, I politely thanked her and set it on my desk; however, I recently came across it, finally watched and was totally blown away. My husband is Irish and I am Lebanese, and with both of us having grown up without any Mah Jong exposure, we both were surprised and moved as we began to appreciate the history and humanity of this game.
