Rating: - A GREAT Kitchen Tool
I honestly can't remember what I did before I bought this blender other than spend wayyyyyyyyy too much time using my food processor for soups, tomato sauce, etc. Now, it's so easy, so quick to use the hand blender and have the job done in literally two minutes. No more tranferring and having more bowl cleanups! It has so many functions that it's an "at hand" tool to be used almost daily.
Rating: - An OH-MY-GOSH-AWESOME Product for a Busy B&B!!
This is the second one of these that I've owned; I gave my first one to my youngest daughter who was making her own baby food for my gorgeous granddaughter! There is NOTHING about this product that I don't like -- NOTHING! I use the immersion blender attachment for soups and sauces; I use the whisk attachment almost daily for whipped cream for waffles and for omelettes; I use both of the mini-food-processor attachments for chopping nuts for waffles and pancakes and for fresh veggies for souffles and frittatas -- and I love all of them! I have given these as gifts to my oldest daughter (who's the Sous Chef for Curtis Stone, the "Take-Home Chef) and a couple of other dear friends who love to cook and spend tons of time in their kitchens! You'll love owning this, I promise!
Rating: - Works very well
Best blender of this type I have had. Works much better than the smaller Braun blenders I have had.
Rating: - Judgment: A splendid product, durable and a multi-tasker!
Since people have already said most good things about it, I will just add a Yeah! a Best Product in my view. Money well spent at a unquestionably justifiable price. Three cheers to Braun.
Rating: - Use it for everything ... better than other hand mixers
This appliance is very versatile. I use my Braun to make salsa, fruit smoothies, chopped veges (great for onions, garlic, and anything that you want chopped into smaller pieces), pesto sauce, finely ground lemon peel, and all kinds of other things. You can control the chopping level to make the pieces smaller or bigger by using either the regular or turbo settings combined with the 12 speed adjustments.
I have had a Bamix (the higher RPM version) along with all the attachments for over a year. I could only get it to work successfully for fruit smoothies ... but when I couldn't order a new one for my son because they were out of stock, I tried the Braun. The Braun does so much more and is only $70 ... whereas the Bamix is over $200 if you buy all the attachments. Because of its versatility, I am using the Braun for much more than I used the Bamix. I also tried a $59 KitchenAid hand mixer, but it didn't have all the attachments or blend a smoothie as nicely as either the Bamix or the Braun.
If you need something that chops, blends, grinds, etc., this is definitely worth the $70 to try it out.
