bought this cart after the bakers rack. The only problem i can see with this item is if you put it together wrong, which it looks like some people have done. To be fairly honest, however, the directions could be a little more detailed. But my wife figured it out and put it together in 20 minutes on her lunch break. It appears very sturdy and functional. Great for a small kitchen. May possibly buy another, or one of the pantry carts. Cant beat Target for value and quality!

I have been very happy with it and have had no issues that were mentioned in some reviews about it be unstable. we are very happy with our purchase and have had many compliments on it.

Rating: - Too flimsy to hold a microwave
We bought three of these because we have a large kitchen, one was for the microwave, one was for the toaster oven and the other was for miscellaneous items. We put one of them together and it was so flimsy that we called the 1-800 number and were told to put the trays in "upside down." That made no sense at all. When we put the microwave on it the microwave crashed to the floor. I was so angry that I threw that cart away because the entire cart was bent. I called Target and asked them to pick up the other two and they did. This is a very dangerous item and should not be advertised as a microwave cart in my opinion.

Rating: - A satisfied customer!
I just finished putting together this microwave cart with no trouble at all. At first when I secured the lower shelf in place, I too thought it was a bit flimsey, but after attaching the upper shelf, I took my hammer and just tapped the shelves down some for a tighter fit. This seemed to secure everything and then I fastened in the (4) screws that secure the wood top. I am using it for small appliances, my bread machine and kitchenaid mixer. It is just working out great...and what a good price.

I bought this cart for extra counter space next to my stove. I love it. I ended up putting my rice cooker and my George Foreman grill on top, they both fit perfectly. I purchased a second one for the Laundry room. If you assemble them right you won't have a problem with them, they are very sturdy. The person that says that you can't move it around because it will fall apart, obviously didn't put it together right. I had moved my all over the Kitchen and had no problem w/ it. It also have a sliding tray that goes in/out for easy access. I also got the pantry one which is great for storaging kitchen towels and other stuff. Both this carts are great and an excellent value at $30.
