I bought 2 of these. One for my livingroom and one for my bedroom. I was waking up stuffed up every morning; mind you; i have 3 dogs although only 1 is allowed upstairs. After only 1 night of using TrueAir I woke up completely unstuffed and could breathe for the first time in over a year. I had my vents cleaned professionally after having rehabbed my bathroom. Dust just gets everywhere from rehabbing anythihng in your home. But Duct cleaning is not enough. The TrueAir in the livingroom where the dogs mostly play, helped with the air and also helps with ciggerette smoke too. For the price I would definitely recommend it.

Rating: - IT WORKS and doesn't cost fortune!!!

I recently purchased this Air cleaner, I was sceptical as I thought cheap product won't work, but I give it A+. I had it only for a week but already see the difference it made.. I have a studio apartment,which is very dusty plus I started suffering from alergies.. Since I purchased this air cleaner I never woke up with stuff in my throat any more and I used to on daily bases.. so it solved my problem and I can wake up much fresher and not stuffy.. also works great as white noise..
So I recommend this to all who need something that works and doesnt cost fortune!! GOOD LUCK

Rating: - Nice little unit
Does a good job especially for a bedroom. I sleep through the night without any coughing and sneezing and wake up congestion free. Good value.

Rating: - a little noisy at the lowest setting
I bought this mainly to reduce dust in my room. I haven't had it even a week so I cannot determine if it is effective in that regard. It is however, too noisy IMO at the lowest setting. it's louder than a laptop and even a dell computer. it's louder than a regular fan. i found that disappointing. Mine sometimes makes a squeal as well. At medium speed it's horrific. very very loud. I dare not try high speed :)

Rating: - No more allergy attacks!
Since I purchased this air filter, I've had far fewer problems with allergies in the morning. I used to wake up and immediately have a sneezing attack, which would last about 20 minutes. Now that I'm running the filter when I sleep, I wake up with clear sinuses and almost no sneezing. I experience less stuffiness and sneezing throughout the day, as well.

As far as noise goes, the filter is almost imperceptible on its lowest setting, and on its highest setting it provides mild white noise, which helps drown out other sounds while sleeping. Overall, I'm very pleased with this product.
