We bought the knife based on the recommendation from America's Test Kitchen. It is sharp, properly weighted, and costs a fraction of its competitors. I love it.

This product was highly recommended by the America's Test Kitchen program which is why I got it. The 8 inch blade is very sharp and the handle is very comfortable. I haven't had it long enough to require sharpening it yet -- only 4 months. The price is very, very good. I would rate this knife much higher than the more expensive Henckels knives.

This was the Best Buy Recommendation in Cook's Illustrated magazine and with good reason. This is a fabulous knive, ergonomic, easy to use and slices and dices like a dream. This is my new "go to" wedding and shower gift.

I LOVE this knife!!! It's the first knife I go for when I want to cut/chop anything. I returned a Henckels set b/c it didn't compare to the sharpness of this knife.
