Toys : Trollz Big Hair Sapphire

Rating: - It's definitely a "hair thing"...
I recently bought this doll and one other (Onyx) for my daughter's 7th b-day, and she absolutely LOVES it. She really, REALLY enjoys playing with the doll's electric blue "do" and also changing her outfits--which surprises me, since my daughter is not usually one who enjoys playing with any type of doll. She likes them so much that I'm actually planning on purchasing the other three dolls in this series for her in the near future.

The only downside that I have noticed is that the doll's hair sheds a bit--I've found a few blue puff-balls on the carpet from where my daughter has brushed the doll's hair a bit too aggressively. Also, the heads on these dolls can be popped-off fairly easily, but they do go back on without too much effort.

Other than that, I would reccommend these toys to anyone looking for something that's not quite as "cutesie" as Stawberry Shortcake, but not quite as "provacative" as the Bratz-type dolls. The Trollz line seems to fall somewhere between those two extremes, and I believe they would be a good choice for most "tween" girls.

I love Trollz! They are so much better than the old ones. Sapphire doesn't break easily and is very fun to play with. She comes with two outfits,one that she wears in a Trollz movie,two brushes,two hair accesories,glasses,and a sneak peek dvd or a pencil topper. I love Sapphire. I like to mix and match her clothes and give her hair different hairstyles. So,I think that you should totally buy one. Oh,and they have magic powers.How cool is that? And Sapphire has a flower shaped sapphire gem in her belly button. I wish I could give this doll a million stars!
