Rating: - It has flaws.
I love the way this thing looks and is designed. In fact, I'm returning the one I got for another because I'm hoping I got a bum one.

Problems were, as an area fan, this is pathetic. Although, since I never intended this to replace my 20" box fan with the Zippi, this could easily overlooked for me. My issue was with the quality of the fan.
1. The front fin housing scrapes and rattles at the lower speed setting.
2. There is a motor whine that is audible in a quite room and can become grating after a while.
3. High speed setting is not exactly what I call silent, but if the slow setting wasn't louder in other ways (explained above) I'd never use this setting.

4. is a complaint against Amazon. They sent my unit directly from a refurbish center. First time I've seen this happen. I didn't pay a mind until the unit came faulty. So much for Amazon being a better retailer than other merchants on their system. Shame.

Positive? Return policy is great as always.

Rating: - Quiet, gentle breeze great on my office desk
Works great for me, having previously used a cheap USB fan, which was noisy. This is very quiet on either speed, and moves air from the desktop to me just fine. I don't want a fan of this size and at this proximity to be anywhere near as powerful as a standard Vornado floor-mounted fan, so this works perfectly for me. I'm even ordering more for my employees!

Rating: - Excellent personal fan
If you are looking for a fan to put on your desk to keep you cool - this is the one! It is silent on low, quiet on high and moves the air quite well. This is the first quiet desk fan I have ever encountered that actually keeps me cool. If you are looking to cool a room, this is not the fan, but mine is perched on my desk, blowing cool air my direction. The high setting can be felt by the woman sitting 20 feet away from me - but I'll keep it on low until she pays for her portion of the fan! :)

I have 2 of these - one on my desk @ work and one next to the bed @ home. I love the flexible blades and it moves plenty of air to make things comfortable.
