Rating: - Great earphones, while they lasted
I bought these earphones because the one's that came with my iPod shuffle were annoying me and wouldn't stay in my ear. At first it took sometime to get adjusted to them (they would hurt my ears) but after awhile I didn't even feel them. The sound was outstanding for a $10 earphone but they only have a short span (approximately 10 months). Well, come to think of it, I did use them a lot everyday and they took a lot of beating (I constantly travel and would place them in my pocket or backpack). These earphones were so great that I am going to purchase another set as a backup.

Rating: - Ear buds too big
The ear buds are too large and uncomfortable. There's no way to change them.

Rating: - Defective - twice!
These are really neat/comfortable earhooks, but after two tries, I am giving up. The wires in these must be microscopic and brittle as icicles! Neither the first pair, nor the replacement worked for us. If you wiggled the wire near the connection point on one side, you could get sound for a few seconds... then nothing. I must say, though, that Amazon was quick with the first replacement, and hopefully with the just filed refund as well.

Rating: - They actually stay in!!
These are the only earbuds I put in and they immediatly fit. I have tried all sorts and due to my ear canal being rather open nothing ever worked. So happy to find these at such a good price.

These are far better than the sony versions I have had about three pairs of the sony ones and they aren't as durable or sound as well as the philips
